The Vikram Vedha remake is directed by Pushkar Gayatri. The film is produced by S. Sashikanth, Chakravarthy Ramachandra, Neeraj Pandey, and Shital Bhatia.

Vikram Vedha storyline:

While Vikram is an honest police officer, Vedha is a deadly gangster. Simon is Vikram's best friend and also a police officer. He forms a unit to deal with Vedha. They succeed in their mission to some extent when they kill some of Vedha's henchmen. They tamper with the evidence to void any inquiry on them.

As the unit is about to make their second attack, Vedha arrives at the police station and surrenders. During interrogation, Vedha tells Vikram a story.

The story revolves around Vedha's life on how he became a drug dealer. He has warned his younger brother Vignesh to stay away from the world of crime. But on being forced by a rival, Ravi, Vignesh was left with no choice but to carry drugs.

On getting arrested by the police, Vignesh confesses the truth, and Ravi gets arrested. Ravi's boss Sangu orders him to exploit Vignesh. He leaves a permanent scar on his hand. Vedha questions Vikram about whether he should punish Ravi or Sangu. Vikram says that Sangu is the real culprit. But, Vedha had already killed Sangu.

Vedha gets bailed out, and his lawyer is Priya, Vikram's better half. In the twisting turn f events, Vikram again takes Vedha into custody. Vedha again narrates him a story.

The title of the film, Vikram Vedha, justifies the story. It seems like a pair of a criminal and police officer in Vikram Vedha 2022.

The second story revolves around Vignesh or Pulli's life. Cheta, Vedha's boss had invested huge money in a venture. But Chandra goes missing and so is the money. But one day Chandra comes back and confesses her theft to start afresh. But she decided to come back for the sake of her love for Pulli. Vedha handover the money to Cheta but he orders him to kill Chandra as her punishment. This time, Vedha questions Vikram about what should he do? Vikram says that Vedha should support Pulli. On realizing Pulli's innocence, Vikram gets stumbled for a moment. He is now determined to investigate Pulli and Simon's murders.

Vikram starts with his investigation. He reaches the conclusion that it was Ravi who has done all this. He conveys the same to Vedha. He successfully brings Ravi to an abandoned factory.

Now it's time for the third story. But still, Vikram is confused about Simon's murderer.

In the meantime, Surendhar and his team land in Mumbai accusing Vikram to let Vedha escape again. Vikram realizes that Ravi has bribed all of them. Surendhar reveals Ravi's plan of killing Vedha. Amid the firing, Vikram shoots Surendhar to death.
