The show was first aired on 4th October 2021 on the Star Pravah channel. It is an ongoing serial and has completed 200+ episodes on air. Out of its popularity, the show also started streaming on disney+ Hotstar.

The story takes motion when two unlikely individuals with entirely different lives cross paths with each other and their life is completely changed afterwards. Where Apoorva is a rather sophisticated girl belonging to an upper-class rich family, our male protagonist Shashank hails from a humble middle-class joint family & happens to be a scholar.
Despite the grave differences that they share they fall in love with each other and we get to see all kinds of emotions, and situations that this development brings about in their life. From the classic tale of 2 lovers to the rituals of a typical Indian joint family, it is a very fun story to be enjoyed & loved.
As the story progresses there are all sorts of situations that their love finds itself in and we see how they gradually overcome them & move forward. The story keeps on as both of them try to find the balance between their love life & families.
The show is an official remake of the original show Khorkuto, a Bengali language series that aired on Star Jalsha. Rupali Guha and Kalyan Guha are the producers of the show. In addition to the show, the original title song was also remade in Marathi language & it was composed by Nilesh Moharir, lyrics given by Rohini Ninawe and sung beautifully by Sai Tembhekar.
Casting decision for any show is the deciding factor for its success & thankfully for this show the job was done pretty well. Including Dnyanada Ramtirthkar as Apoorva and Chetan Vadnere in the role of Shashank in the thipkyanchi rangoli serial cast is an example of one such great casting decision.
