Drushyam 2 Storyline

It was the night of 3 August when Rambabu was moving away from a police station that was under construction. He murdered his brother-in-law and went back home and told everything to his wife and apologized to her. But he got arrested as Janardhan saw him exiting. Years passed, and Rambabu was working on a film.

Varun's feather requested Rambabu to give him the right to perform the last rituals of his dead son. Jyoti started spending more time with Saritha and disclosed that Anju was behind Varun's death. Jyoti didn't know that Sanjay and Saritha are police inspectors in real who were given the duty to know the truth behind Varun's death. Saritha plays the recording in which Jyoti committed that Anju killed Varun. A few days later Police arrested Rambabu on a trial for the murder of Varun. Chandra revealed that Ram Babu wrote a script based on the case and he published the script as a novel under the name Drushyam. Rambabu claimed that police arrested him on the basis of the script written by him. After a DNA test, it was revealed that the body found was not of Varun. Rambabu was released as the police didn't have much evidence against him. The judge told Sahu to stop the case. Rambabu anonymously sends ashes of Varun to his parents. Varun's father was performing his last rituals and Jyoti told Geeta to leave all the enmity behind as Rambabu will never let his family loose. Shu told that Rambabu will never be able to forgive himself. He will always live in the fear. The film ended by showing Rambabu who was watching all the rituals from the distance. The emotional scenes performed by Venkatesh were very good and the audience loved them. His performance alone did wonder in the movie. Meena was also good in her role. The action started in the second half of the movie whereas the first half showed some slow scenes else there were no unnecessary or dragging scenes. The role played by young actors as the daughters of Venky was also good and entertaining. All the visuals that were added in the film very perfectly made and captured. The introduction of the movie was done at the end of the first half which made the audience a little irritated but the wait was worth it.
