HIT: The First Case is now playing in theatres. It is a remake of a Telugu film and the same name is used, and Dr. Sailesh Kolanu was the original director. The movie's plot is straightforward; it centers on the life of a cop named Vikram (Rajkummar Rao), who is attempting to solve the kidnapping case of two girls, one of whom also happens to be his fiancée. He has, however, also been struggling with the strain and trauma of his past at the same time.
Hola friends, Today's news might be many of your favorites as some of your favorite actor Rajkummar Rao's new movie has been released in the theaters yes you read it right we are pranking you want to know the inside scoop hit the first case review don't worry we will tell all about it inside this article so what are you waiting for let's get started.
Vikram (Rajkummar Rao), a dedicated policeman on the Homicide Intervention Team, is battling post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of a personal tragedy.
He gets panic attacks and his knees turn to jelly every time he sees a graphic crime scene. Additionally, every time he comes into contact with fire, his agonizing memories of losing a loved one recur. Vikram takes a vacation from work to travel to his hometown at the suggestion of his therapist. However, he soon learns that Neha (Sanya Malhotra), his girlfriend, has vanished.
Neha, a freshman in college, vanishes in the open, on the other hand. Vikram is attempting to solve the enigma, but he is not aware that a major shocker is about to come.
Director Sailesh Kolanu does a superb job of building suspense in a tense movie by gradually letting the viewer into the dark realm of perverse characters. He also subtly weaves the background of his protagonist into the drama without deviating too much from the movie's main issue. As has previously stated, the way the events play out in the final act, however, completely negates the entire build-up. The explanation is absurd, and it completely diminishes the significance of the otherwise compelling story. The happenings are exciting, but that is not sufficiently warranted, to put it briefly. HIT: The First Case stands out for ideas, although we wish the original climax had been altered to have more impact.
Given that the entire movie was shot during the pandemic, the production team deserves extra praise for the breathtaking cinematography. The production qualities are high and appropriate for the film's genre. While some of the speech in the story has humorous undertones, the music is passable. As the movie progresses quickly, the editing is likewise sharp, but the script is where the problem lies. Without a satisfying conclusion, a thriller cannot leave an impression. HIT: The First Case fails in this area. The writing for the male characters is excellent and gives them the intended arc, but the feminine characters could have used a bit more nuance. A deeper level of writing would have given the events at the climax more perspective.
Regarding skills, Rajkummar Rao does well in the movie's investigative scenes as a cop. He misses the mark a little bit, though, when things get emotional. Sanya Malhotra performs admirably in the part, although she is hindered by a poorly written character. Inspector Ibrahim, played by Milind Gunaji, does a good job, although his character too could have benefited from a stronger narrative arc. The ensemble's other members perform admirably in their individual lesser roles.
A woman who acts attention-seeking as though she has no notion of the law is among the police conducting lie detector and drug tests on the same day. As if that weren't enough, two persons who had been actively engaged in a two-minute fight to the death had an unexpected change of heart. In the whole film, everyone always makes the mistake of forgetting their accent and begin speaking in standard Hindi.
