About Crime 23

The story shows the murders of a pregnant woman and a church father. The case is given to an assistant commissioner of police named Vijay. Crime 23 Storyline

The movie starts with Jessica visiting to a church where she confesses all the bad things she did in her life to a church but by surprise, the priest was murdered later on and Jessica was kidnapped. Whereas ACP Vetrimaara was celebrating the wedding anniversary of his brother. Everyone was happy in the family except his mother as she didn't like Abhinaya because she is not able to give her a grandchild. She went through treatment from a famous specialist Dr. Tulsi and she finally becomes pregnant.

Vetri was given the case of finding Jessica as Thirupathi suspected connectivity between Priest's death and Jessica's kidnapping. A preschool teacher was the first to witness the dead body of the priest. A few days passed and Vetri and Thendral started dating each other, same time they found her dead body of Jessica and found out that she was pregnant. Vetri investigated and went to a petrol bunk that was close to the church and noticed the men in the black car. He went back home and found that Abhinaya committed suicide. Her mother told that a few days back she asked for Rs 50 lakh from her feather. He was going through her body and found out that she had the same traces that Jessica's dead body had. Then he realizes that there is also a young woman, he suspects that Aravind is hiding something. Vetri talks to him and got to know that Abhinaya got pregnant with artificial insemination. Vetri visits the hospital where the procedure took place and started checking the previous records and documents. he also notices a female artist named Kousalya was getting treatment for the same. He noticed something strange some patients had a weird number 23 in their files. Kousalya received a call instructing her to pay a large amount of money. With this, he reaches a man named Gaurav. He confessed that he is a member of a gang that kills all the women who get artificial insemination. Vetri got to know that Dr. Tulsi was also involved in the gang they head towards the hospital to arrest her. Where they get to know that a man named John is behind everything. When tulsi told him that she and her husband will expose him then h killed them. By luck, Vetri manages to find John. They both had a fight and Vetri manages to kill him. The story ends by showing Thendral and Vetri discussing the importance of adoption.

Crime 23 telugu movie review Arun Vijay looked perfect in the role of a cop. His dialogues, body language, and personality matched the role very well. Mahima Nambiar also looked very pretty and did her role well. Abhinaya also did very well. The medical mafia was very good and everything is presented in a very systematic way. Overall the storyline of the film was very good and interesting but it could have been crispier. The film is a serious one so those who are expecting some comedy and entertainment would be disappointed. The direction of Arivazhagan is really appreciated for dealing with an issue like medical mafia is really something unique. The cinematography done by Bhaskaran K. M is also good, the Editing is decent and the music by Vishal Chandrasekhar was also very good and gave a good effect in the background. This film was a low-budget film and had good production values.
