Black Summer season 2 plot:

At the end of Black Summer season 2, a group of survivors fights the apocalypse. Rose is at peace as she reunites with her daughter, Anna. But her happiness soon comes to halt when she comes to know that she got separated from her fellow group members, Sun, Lance, and Spears. They all encounter different groups. All the groups are determined to find the supplies that are dropped by a mysterious plane. All the teams come together to complete this mission but, they find nothing but death in front of them. The first half of Black Summer season 2 is full of chaotic scenes filled with confusion and so many flashbacks. All the episodes are interesting but it is very difficult for the viewers to maintain concentration. In the second half of the series, the events are more linear. In the following episodes, there are frequent moments where the narration is unstable and alteration of time takes place. But once the viewers are familiar with the techniques used in the filming of the story, one can easily cope-up.

Julius gets injured and is left to die. Cary is somewhat opposite to Rose. Sun is the protagonist and is held prisoner by multiple groups for many parts of the season. She is unable to communicate as she cannot speak English and others can not understand the Korean language.

The episode starts with Freddy's mother talking about her children and the feeling of being a mother. Anna knocks on the door and Freddy lets Rose and Anna come in. Rose answers all the questions Freddy has in her mind. The groups are frustrated about communication with the plane. Sonny insists Rose help Mark, but she keeps denying it. On the other hand, Mark does not need Pose's help too. He sets out and finds himself followed by the zombies. He gets compelled to hide in the garbage. Later, he gets on a snowmobile and rides away. Rose and Anna find themselves amid the dumb people. They are playing cards. Suddenly, the group overhears a plane. Rhonda decides to call for help. Freddy's mothers suggest Anna go out and get some wood, but Rose tells Sonny and Fred to go out as they are adult men now. Freddy sets out to go and fetch some wood for the fire. A zombie chases him. To safeguard himself, Freddy climbs on a tree. Anna and Rose are busy playing cards and Anna refuses to have the food. Sonny's mother accuses Rose and the tension escalates. Rose and Anna shoot both Sonny and his mother at the same time.

Rose, being a mother tells Anna not to look at the dead bodies. But, Anna says she is fine. A man shows up who was hidden upstairs. He sees Rose and Anna sleeping there in a room. And, the episode ends here.

Black Summer season 3 might continue the story after the ending of season 2.

Black Summer season 2 ending:

Ray gets a betrayal from his men after they all have reached the airstrip. Not only do they gang up against Ray's leadership but they beat him up as payback for whatever they have seen him treating them like dogs. Amidst all the events, one of the Zombies barges in. This leads the group to dissolve into chaos filled with blood and bullets everywhere. Rose, Anna, Ray, and Sun make it to come outside and they lock the rest inside.

In the Black Summer season 2 ending, Ray delivers a monologue to Rose and the others. Rose uses a flame that blows up a nearby car. This incident injures Rose and Ray seriously.

The story of season 2 revolves around the struggle of all the factions to reach out to the plane.
