The Baarish web series plot revolves around Anuja and Gauravi, an arranged marriage couple. The first season narrates the story from Gauravi's perspective.

Anuja and Gauravi hail from different backgrounds. Post his father's death, Anuj gives up his studies to look after his family and business. While Gauravi hails from a middle-class family, her family is particular about her studies. They both get into a surprise arrangement for the wedding. In the first season, we can witness the love blooming between Anuj and Gauravi. However, the middle episodes of the web show are about their relationship.

Continuing the story of the web series in season 2, the audience witnesses several turns and twists.

Gauravi spends a few months in prison to protect her husband. However, she gets bailed and gets back with her husband.
