Romantic action entertainer film featuring Tottempudi Gopichand and Nayanthara in the main lead Aaradygula Bullet is produced by Thandra Ramesh under Jaya Balaji Real Media.
Hello everyone. I hope you're doing well. I'm back with another movie review, this time for the Aaradugula Bullet review, an Indian Telugu-language action film directed by B.Gopal that was originally scheduled to be released in 2017 but was delayed due to financial issues and finally released on October 8, 2021.
The plot revolves around Shiva, the son of Murthy, a well-respected man in Vijayawada. The star cast includes Tottempudi Gopichand, Nayanthara, Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, and Abhimanyu Singh. M.S. Narayana, a well-known comedian, also appeared in this film, and it was his last film. I've included all of the details you'll need to know about Aaradugula Bullet, so enjoy the read.
The film's story revolves around Shiva, a careless young man who is financially dependent on his father, Murthy. He was fired from his job in Maharashtra due to a conflict he had with a local goon over a bridge project. When his boss requests that he apologize to the local goon, Shiva responds by stating that he will never bow down in front of the wrong person. The manager is enraged and fires Shiva. Later, Shiva discloses that he staged a fire to get fired from his job because he missed his family. Murthy is enraged after learning that Shiva has been fired from the job that he had suggested Shiva for with great trouble. Shiva's joblessness and carelessness are always a source of contention between father and son.
Murthy's transfer pushes the family to move from Vijayawada. Shiva's grandmother cautions him to be watchful in the city, which is controlled by the local Don Kasi (Abhimanyu Singh). Shiva gets to know from a friend that Kasi has a major ego problem and once broke the leg of a minister who failed to show up for the opening of his mall after promising to do so and forcing him to come in a wheelchair just to satisfy his ego.
Shiva meets Nayana at a wedding event and falls in love with her. He goes to a bar and slaps Nayana's boss after learning that her boss makes her work all hours of the day and night and takes all of the credit for himself. Shiva poses as Nayana's boyfriend, leading to Nayana's being fired from the company. Shiva meets Nayana, who is depressed, and tells her that life is precious and should be enjoyed. Nayana goes to her boss's house, confident in Shiva's words, and confronts him in front of his house about all his business dealings. Nayana's boss reveals that Shiva is the reason she got the job.
When questioned, Shiva admits that he did this to make Nayana spend time with him and fall in love with him. In exchange, Nayana requests that Shiva cover all of her expenses until her job is restored. Meanwhile, Kasi approaches Murthy and asks that he sell his house. When Murthy rejects the latter, Kasi gives him 30 days to reconsider his decision or accept the repercussions. Here, Shiva brings crackers to all of Nayana's apartment kids on her orders, but she learns that the city is not celebrating Diwali until the court hearing, as Kasi's brother was arrested. Shiva disregards Kasi's instruction and instructs the children to light the fireworks. When Kasi's gang sees this, they come to beat them up, but Shiva calmly announces that Kasi's brother has been released, and thus everyone can celebrate Diwali. The goons leave when they hear this. Shiva impresses Nayana and she falls in love with him.
Murthy sees Shiva and Nayana together one day and guides Nayana that Shiva is unfit for marriage because he lacks responsibility and that she should leave him. Nayana later expresses her displeasure with Murthy to Shiva and requests that he leave the house. Shiva is enraged, and Nayana departs, stating that his family matters to him, and he cannot bear his father being insulted by anyone.
Shiva requests his grandmother to let him use her property so that he can start his own construction company, which is his dream. Shiva's grandmother is hurt in a quarrel, which enrages Murthy and causes him to be thrown out of the house. Kasi then comes to Murthy's house and hits him for not giving him the house. When Shiva sees Kasi beating up his father, he becomes enraged and fights with Kasi, hitting him severely in front of everyone.
The next day, everyone is proud of Shiva for standing up to Kasi and praises Murthy for having such a strong son. Murthy is overjoyed that his son is bringing him respect, reconciles with him, and begins to love him. He even suggests that he reconciles with Nayana because she was the only one who believed in Shiva when no one else did.
Kasi's brother arrives to warn Murthy, but Shiva also beats him and orders Kasi to back down. Nayana and Shiva tie the knot. Kasi attacks Shiva's family, but Shiva arrives in time to save everyone, injuring one thug in the process and requiring him to be hospitalized. Shiva is informed by the police that if the person dies, he will be arrested.
Murthy, worried about his son's safety, goes to Kasi and gives him his house papers, and asks to let go of his family. But Kasi puts a condition that Shiva has to apologize to Kasi in front of everyone as he was disrespected earlier by Shiva. Murthy persuades Shiva to apologize to Kasi, and Shiva, unable to say no to his father, goes and tells him sorry to Kasi and all his goons. But all of this does not end here. Kasi goes to the hospital and kills the goons, so Shiva gets arrested. After hearing the news, Shiva breaks down all the alliances and goes after Kasi.
The goon's wife openly acknowledges that Murthy was looking for them while Kasi had killed her husband in the hospital. All the thugs leave Kasi and his brother after hearing this. Kasi rushes to Murthy and requests him to stop his son to be saved from Shiva. Kasi is thrown out by Murthy, who claims he won't because if he stops his son now, he will fail as a father forever. Shiva triumphs against Kasi and his brother. People in the city are taught to defend themselves from thugs.
Shiva and Nayana spend Diwali together in their ancestral house as the film comes to a close.
From the very beginning, the film's concept has an antiquated quality. Stunts, wirework, and other elements all have an aged appearance. The story is attributed to Vakkantham Vamsi. Given the striking resemblance to his previous work, it's not entirely surprising. In the Aaradugula Bullet movie review, the entire concept is lifted from the Jr NTR starrer, from the lead protagonist to his family and the egoist villain.
Despite this, Aaradugula Bullet takes a long time to get to the point. After more than an hour, the story begins. We have a filler comedy track, a romance, and some family drama in between. Sometimes old stories can be engaging if they are handled by current trends. It's a case of a triple effect with Aaradugula Bullet. Besides the story, we have a director handling it who is way past his prime. The delay is the final nail in the coffin. The Aaradugula Bullet movie review from the viewers said that there isn't a single scene that stands out. There are numerous instances of déjà vu throughout the story.
The core family drama, which had some promise, is snuffed out as things return to normal life within a couple of scenes. After a predictable interval bang, the second half follows the same path as the first. The main plot is not revealed until the pre-climax. The narrative shifts to comedy after intermission. Brahmanandam is used as bait in exchange for a few laughs. It's an old formula that no longer works. However, due to the delay, it cannot be avoided here. In the final half-hour, the narrative returns to the core conflict after much stretching.
Aaradugula Bullet movie review: all I can say is that we're back in Ashok territory, with a couple of scenes playing out as they are. The story concludes with a lengthy fight and a sermon from the hero. Rather than the satisfaction of watching a mass entertainer, it comes across as a massive relief.
The movie was originally scheduled for release on June 9, 2017, but it was postponed because of certain financial difficulties. The film was then released on October 8th, 2021. The movie's trailer is accessible on YouTube, and I've provided a link to it below for your convenience.
