A1 Express plot-

A hockey facility in Yanam dedicated to P Chitti Babu, a local legend who once played a hockey match to save the day against the French, is opened by Sports Minister Ramesh. Years after India gained independence from the colonizers, a group of underdogs must play a match once again to defend what is actually theirs. Lavanya Rao is one of the athletes who Coach Murali, a retired army officer, has high expectations for. Sundeep Naidu, also known as Sanju, arrives in Yanam from Vizag and appears to be an aimless young man whose sole goal is to seduce Lavanya. But it soon becomes clear that he has a difficult history that he's working very hard to forget.

A1 Express review-

In the first half, Dennis spends a lot of time developing both Lavanya's personality and the dynamic between her and Sanju. But you can be sure that the focus will change as soon as her character switches from riding a bike to riding a pillion with Sanju. Despite having potential, her character is ultimately reduced to an observer at the end of the movie, which begs the question of why so much time was spent setting it up. It can't simply be the expertly choreographed duets and Lavanya's charisma that make them so enjoyable. She has wasted talent in any case.

The film benefits from Sanju and his backstory. Despite the brief time allotted to their story, Sundeep, Priyadarshi, and Rahul Ramakrishna give it believability, evoking sympathy even as Sanju decides to fight back during the crucial match. But getting there is not an easy journey. Dennis does a wonderful job of exploring the pervasive corruption in sports in this country and how multinational companies, coaches, local officials, and other individuals decide the fate of talented athletes who are never even allowed to compete. There is also a sequence that depicts modern reality and demonstrates how social media fan fights are used to deflect attention from important concerns and how economic strata, class, and even religion are utilized to create inequities. By A1 Express review, it can be said that Sundeep, Lavanya, and the rest of the cast give personality to their character. In this masterfully crafted story, not a single performer appears out of place. Even if all those duets and upbeat songs seem unnecessary in the overall scheme of things, HipHop Tamizha's music gives the movie a distinctive touch, as does Kavin Raj's cinematography. However, they do serve the aim of maintaining the lightness of the situation before it becomes dramatic, dark, and depressing.

Even though A1 Express is a well-known and predictable story, it is one that is desperately required. Even if it's simply to demonstrate that there is hope for this country's kids after all given that they aren't afraid to fight back.
